Rotork’s AB range of quarter-turn operators have a cast iron housing and are intended for applications in chemical, power, waterworks, HVAC and most general industrial applications.

IW Quarter-turn Motorized Gearboxes

The new IW Mk2 worm gear operators have been designed to suit isolating duty motorized applications. The gearboxes include low lead angle gearing designed to be inherently self-locking and offer an increased torque output per size compared to the previous IW range. IW Mk2 worm gear operators are quarter-turn devices intended for the operation of ball, plug and butterfly valves.

• Torque range up to 850,000 Nm
• Comprehensive gear ratios combined with a selection of auxiliary input spur gear reducers.
• Inherently self-locking gearing.
• Angular contact bearings supporting worm shaft.
• Removable and repositionable output sleeve.
• Repositionable baseplate facility

IB Multi-turn Motorized Gearboxes

Rotork Series IB operators are multi-turn (rotary) devices intended for the operation of gate, globe, sluice and penstock valves.

These gearboxes are suitable for the most demanding motorized applications.

• Torque range up to 8,135 Nm
• Thrust range up to 1,320 kN
• Ratios from 1:1 to 120:1
• Totally enclosed gearing
